Architectural Brief:

We were commissioned by local builders Mason & Mason to design a dwelling for boutique accommodation on a small 500sqm site in Cambridge, NZ. The brief called for a refined modern form, that utilised cedar, glass and recycled brick to create a strong visual street appeal. Design considerations included maximising the small site, inclusion of four double bedrooms, and a private outdoor entertaining and relaxation areas for guests.

Custom engineering was utilised to create the glass structure at the front of the dwelling. The overall aesthetic is clean and refined, offering guests a luxurious home away from home.
